Elliott Review

The Elliott Review has published recommendations on the provision of enforcement laboratory capacity in the UK.

Liz Moran, President of the Association of Public Analysts, said:

"I welcome the findings and recommendations of this interim report. The issue of the provision of enforcement laboratories is very important. Public Analysts and their laboratories play a crucial role in the protection of the public from food fraud and steps must be taken to maintain the UK’s capacity. I welcome debate on how this capacity should be provided and look forward to hearing the views of members and other stakeholders over the coming months."
